- How do I use Email Broadcast?
Once you register as a BuyCheapAdvertising
customer, you will receive a user id and password. You have two
options for distributing your broadcast:
- Have BuyCheapAdvertising send the broadcast for you.
Simply send an email to
support@BuyCheapAdvertising.com. Attach
your document and contact list, and include the following
information:
- Account number
- Date and Time the broadcast is to be sent
- Approximate number of recipients in the distribution
list
- Name and email address of the person who is to receive
the broadcast delivery report and test email
- Special instructions
- Send the broadcast yourself. (coming soon)
- Click Sign In
- Login to your account using your email address and
password
- Provide your broadcast instructions and upload your
contact list
- Upload your text and/or HTML file
- Upload any attachments you want sent with your email
- Schedule your Email Broadcast
- What format does my email content have to be in?
Your email content can be sent either in HTML
or Text format, or both.
- Can I put an HTML link in my text-based email?
You need to provide the full URL within your
text-based email. Some recipient browsers will present the URL
as a link that can be tracked. Otherwise, recipients can copy
and paste the link into their browser.
- Can I attach documents to my Email Broadcast? What about
viruses?
Yes, you can attach up to 3 documents of any
file format within your broadcast.
BuyCheapAdvertising will scan your document before sending to
ensure there are no attached viruses.
- Can I personalize my emails?
Yes you can. By using first and/or last names
within your contact list, and providing the corresponding merge
fields within the body of your email, BuyCheapAdvertising will
generate personalized emails on your behalf.
- Can I see what my email looks like, before it is sent?
Yes. BuyCheapAdvertising will email you a
test message for your approval.
- Can I schedule the date and time of a campaign?
Yes you can. Either provide this information
to the Broadcast team when you email your request, or do it
yourself with the web-based, self-serve option.
- Where will the responses from my email go?
You determine this at the time of set up.

- Will I get reports on how successful my campaign is?
Yes. As soon as your campaign has run, our
broadcast department will send you a report on the success of
your campaign. This will include the number of emails sent,
bounced emails, replies, unsubscribes and click-throughs.
- What are replies?
Replies to your email campaign include
recipients who actually email back a reply.
Sometimes recipients will reply to an email but may actually
want to unsubscribe from future emails. The proper way to
unsubscribe from future emails is to reply back, but in the
subject line of the email type "unsubscribe". Directions to
unsubscribe are clearly indicated in the email message.
- What are unsubscribes?
Unsubscribes are recipients who reply back
with "unsubscribe" typed in the subject line of the email. These
recipients do not wish to receive any more email messages and
request that you remove them from your contact list.
- What are bounced emails?
Bounced emails are emails that
BuyCheapAdvertising could not deliver. The reasons might be an
invalid email address or that there was a temporary technical
problem with the receiving end.
- Will BuyCheapAdvertising delete bounced or unsubscribe
emails from my contact list?
No. We leave list maintenance up to you.
